Technology Gets Mobility and Protection in
Datamation Systems’ Latest Cart
SOUTH HACKENSACK, N.J.--(BUSINESS
WIRE)--Digital projectors and audio
visual equipment are widely used in schools,
training facilities and corporate offices, often
in configurations that have to be shared or
stored when they are not in use. Traditional
carts provide little or no security for this
valuable equipment. Now, a new, compact cart
from
DATAMATION SYSTEMS,
the nation’s leading provider of notebook
security carts, delivers storage and easy use
for a variety of equipment config-urations while
securing and recharging notebook PCs.
“This is simply the most versatile security
cart ever made for AV equipment and notebooks,”
reports Joe Mazza, Vice President of Datamation
Systems. “With a single lock, projectors and
multi-media equipment can be protected at a
level of security previously only available in
the best security cabinets. And these carts also
provide storage and recharging for up to ten
notebook or netbook PCs.”
These new carts provide an innovative,
adjustable projector compartment that secures
digital projectors and allows them to be tilted
for optimum use with a single, external
hand-crank adjustment. “Quick and easy
adjustment is especially important when carts
are moved from room to room,” said Mazza.
Adjustable storage shelves hold speakers,
DVD/VCRs and other equipment. A side shelf is
even finished with a “white board” surface for
use with a document camera.
The multi-function cart’s new locking system
provides an unprecedented level of security,
especially compared to the cumbersome padlocks
and wafer locks offered with other AV carts. A
single key opens the cart for easy access and
easy locking.
The cart is compact and easy to move, with an
ergonomic push handle and welded steel
construction durable enough for demanding
institutional environments.
DS-MFC carts are available from major
computer companies and directly from
Datamation Systems. Additional information
